Lewis Tesser and Gregory Ryan established Tesser & Ryan in 1984; thereafter Irwin Rochman joined the firm.

Among them, their experience includes being a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army, an Assistant United States Attorney, a Clerk to a Federal Circuit Court Judge, and an Assistant District Attorney.
