Tesser, Ryan & Rochman, LLP is pleased to announce that Randall Tesser has been made a partner of the firm! 

Randy’s practice focuses on representing attorneys and other licensed professionals in professional-responsibility and licensing matters. He regularly advocates for professionals facing disciplinary investigations and charges, reinstatement proceedings, licensing and initial admissions, and character and fitness hearings. Mr. Tesser also advises professionals on the business aspects of their practices, including practice management, the sale or purchase of a practice, employment matters, and partnership disputes.  Randy also represents individuals and businesses in various administrative proceedings.

Randy has been highly active in bar leadership and professional-responsibility organizations. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), the American Bar Association (ABA), the New York County Lawyers’ Association (NYCLA), and the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL). He is chair-elect of the NYSBA General Practice Section and serves as editor-in-chief of One on One, the section’s journal. He also is an appointed member of NYSBA’s Committee on Professional Discipline and serves on the executive committee of NYSBA’s Dispute Resolution Section, where he chairs its Ethics Committee.

At the national level, the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility awarded Mr. Tesser the Rosner & Rosner Young Lawyer Professionalism Award. He is a fellow of the ABA Committee on Professional Regulation and a member of the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility’s New Lawyer Steering Committee.

He also serves on the NYCLA Ethics Committee and the Joint Committee on Fee Disputes and Conciliation.

Randy is a graduate of Tufts University and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.

Outside of his legal practice, Randy is an accomplished musician who has performed professionally as a drummer across the country, including an appearance at Carnegie Hall.
